The pressure's on for the lunch tomorrow. There's tables to set, flowers to arrange and food to prepare. There's so much to do, but it's all good fun when you actually get into it. You just get busy and throw yourself fully into the task in hand. There's no going back now, the invitations are out and every one's expecting a hearty lunch. So we start about 4:00pm, immediately after coming home from school and stop about 12:00 midnight.
When God calls us to serve Him, it's sure to be hard work, often exhausting at times. Sometimes, we even feel daunted or overwhelmed by the enormity of the job, but when we obediently follow, we really enjoy being in His will.
So, let's not be shaken and let's go ahead and throw off everything which would hold us back. He's waiting to bless us.
