RISKING ALL

Our assistant pastor spoke tonight at church about being serious about following Christ. He talked at length about "risking everything" and stepping out in faith. I have a couple of close friends who have done exactly this and have not been disappointed at all, in fact, quite the reverse. They are living examples of how God provides everything we need, when we simply trust. This morning Jon said goodbye to everyone in church and again, I saw evidence of this peace and assurance that he is in God's will, written all over him also.
What a blessing to know that when we risk all for God, He fills us with His unexplainable joy, amidst the trials.
Lord tonight, show each one of us the next step of Your plan for our lives and help us not to hold back anything which would keep us from "risking all" for You.
