We held our Sports Day today. The rain stayed off for the duration and it was a truly successful afternoon. It was fun to watch kids from 4-11 years take part with enthusiasm and they enjoyed watching their parents participating as well. As I helped the kids to line up and prepare themselves for the different races, I was reminded of the bible verse which encourages us to "run the race of life" every day.
Hebrews 12.1. "Let us run with patience the race that is set out before us".
