We went to a Praise evening tonight. Different folk took part and Jon shared how God has called him to go to Ecuador for a year.The speaker who gave the closing words ( a guy who is a dear friend ) really touched my heart with his challenging message and call to us all to serve. He told us how God was already preparing peoples' hearts in Ecuador for Jon to minister to them and that was something I hadn't given thought to as I'm so conscious of him getting ready to go.
It makes so much sense though, as we know that God goes ahead of us in everything we venture to do. What a blessing for us all tonight, to rest in that truth.
